New patients should bring their insurance card, any previous medical records not already sent to the practice, and a current list of medications.

Starting at age 21, women should have a wellness exam each year, including a breast and pelvic exam. Whether a Pap smear is necessary depends on your age, risk factors, Pap history, and the type of Pap smear previously done.

If you have a life-threatening emergency, please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

For the safety of everyone, we kindly request that you plan for your children to be cared for at home during your appointment. Depending on the nature of your visit, it may not be suitable for your child(ren) to accompany you. Your understanding and patience as we prioritize the safety and well-being of our patients, providers, and staff are greatly appreciated.

If you cannot make your appointment, please log into your patient portal and send us a message or call our office at 850-877-7241 to reschedule or cancel. Appointments canceled within 24 hours are subject to a cancellation fee, so please get in touch with us as soon as possible if you need to make any changes.

Most insurance plans cover our physicians at North Florida Women’s Care. If your plan does not include our physicians, we will work with you to establish a fair partnership. It’s important to note that while your OB-GYN may recommend specific treatments, procedures, prescriptions, or appointments, your insurance company may not cover them.
