We welcomed Kaylee Cofield, PA-C, to our care team in January 2023. Please allow Kaylee to introduce herself in her own words:
“As a Florida native, Tallahassee has been my home for the majority of my life. I’ve worked in clinics most of my adult life, learning the importance of patient advocacy and education. I graduated from a local high school and started at Tallahassee Community College to get my AA.
After obtaining my AA, I began at Florida A&M University, where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Biology. I was accepted into the graduate program at FAMU to study microbes in our local springs. I earned my master’s degree in Molecular Cellular Biology.
After working in a lab for two years, I decided working with patients is my ultimate calling. I was accepted into the FSU Physician Assistant Studies Program where I was exposed to several areas of medicine. Women’s health was the most exciting, as it highlighted medical breakthroughs and the importance of preventive medicine. I’m so excited to work with patients in my hometown!”
Kaylee is an outstanding addition to our team. She sees patients for both obstetrics and gynecology.
