Malyn Winger, DNP, APRN, FNP-C joined North Florida Women’s Care and moved to Tallahassee in May 2024.
Originally from San Angelo, Texas, Malyn attended Texas A&M University where she earned a baccalaureate degree in Spanish and Biology. She then returned to her hometown and earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Angelo State University, graduating magna cum laude. She received her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. She is board-certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Before joining NFLWC, Malyn worked as a labor and delivery nurse for over seven years, including over three years at Parkland Hospital in Dallas, Texas. After leaving Parkland, she began labor and delivery travel nursing and eventually ended up in Nashville, Tennessee where she lived for four years before moving to Tallahassee.
Malyn is thrilled to be joining NFLWC and continuing her passion for women’s health. She is committed to empowering women throughout their health journey by providing them with compassionate, individualized, and evidence-based care. Malyn holds memberships in the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health, and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
Outside of work, Malyn enjoys traveling, attending country music concerts, and visiting her family’s ranch in West Texas. She is a self-proclaimed foodie who delights in cooking, exploring various cuisines, and seeking new culinary experiences everywhere she visits. Her faith is a cornerstone of her life, and she aims to glorify God in all that she does.
Malyn sees patients for gynecology visits and works exclusively on the team of Dr. Vikki McKinnie.
